Die Videoarbeit Untitled. entstand im Rahmen einer Zusammenarbeit mit Studierenden der Fotografieklasse der Akademie der Bildenden Künste München mit dem Ziel einer gemeinsamen Ausstellung. Über den Verlauf eines Semesters hinweg entwickelte sich innerhalb der Gruppe ein kontinuierlicher Austausch zum Thema Authentizität. Ausgehend von einer bestehenden Skizze habe ich drei zusammenhängende, jedoch in sich unabhängige Videoarbeiten entwickelt, die in der Präsentation als Loop gezeigt werden. Mit mir selbst als Protagonistin entsteht eine Form von Selbstporträt, das sich an bekannten filmischen Bildwelten orientiert – Szenen, die dem Publikum vertraut erscheinen, ohne konkret verortbar zu sein. Die Arbeit verhandelt Fragen von Wahrnehmung und Erinnerung: Sie spielt mit der Tendenz, Zusammenhänge herzustellen, wo keine eindeutigen Verbindungen existieren, und Bilder weiterzudenken, obwohl die Sequenzen weder einzeln noch als Ganzes einen Anfang oder ein Ende haben.

The video work Untitled. was developed as part of a collaboration with students from the photography class at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich, culminating in a group exhibition. Over the course of one semester, the group engaged in an ongoing discourse on the notion of authenticity. Based on an initial sketch, I developed three related yet independent video sequences, presented as a continuous loop. Featuring myself as the protagonist, the work takes the form of a self-portrait, drawing on familiar cinematic imagery—scenes that seem recognizable, yet cannot be clearly placed. The work explores questions of perception and memory. It plays with the tendency to construct meaning and connections where none are explicitly given, inviting the viewer to continue thinking beyond what is shown, even though the sequences have neither a clear beginning nor an end, individually or as a whole.
